NN Group: Q2 results in line with expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday NN Group reported a 12% drop in Q2 earnings, performance that is in line with expectations and which has only resulted in the share edging up slightly on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.


This morning the Dutch insurer announced quarterly operating profit of 445 million euros, down 12.4% from the 508 million euros a year ago.

Nevertheless, net profit rose almost 31% to 606 million euros (vs. 463 million euros in Q2 2018).

In its statement, the group said that it continues to benefit from its efforts to cut costs.
