ASML: best pick for Oddo

(CercleFinance.com) - Ahead of Q3 results, Oddo is confident in companies' ability to meet their targets.


Demand for semiconductors has remained above production capacity - sometimes by over 30% - with some double ordering, as well as more non-cancellable orders. There are no alarming signals on inventory build-up, the analyst says.

Regarding manufacturers, we expect confident messages and, with the ramp-up of production capacity and the confirmation of sound visibility for 2022.
Oddo's top picks remain ASML (target price: 900 euros) and ASMi, which benefit from the increase in production capacity and structural growth linked to the increasing complexity of processes.

The analyst is also confident that IFX and STM will outperform the market in 2022, thanks to their aggressive capex plans.
