Euronext: 9% drop in cash volumes in July

(CercleFinance.com) - In its monthly update on Monday evening, Euronext said that its cash volumes (cash, excluding fixed income) fell by 9% in July sequentially, to just under 63 million transactions recorded.


The pan-European exchange operator said that, at around three million, average daily cash trading volume also fell, dropping 5% last month, again sequentially.

Cash trading volumes totaled nearly 206.9 billion euros in July, down 15% from the previous month, while average daily volume fell by 11% on a monthly basis, reaching 9.85 billion euros.
