Euronext: cash volumes down 10% in June

(CercleFinance.com) - In its monthly update on Wednesday evening Euronext said that its cash volumes fell by 10% in June compared to May, with just over 69.
4 million transactions recorded.

The pan-European stock exchange group said that at around 3.15 million, average daily cash trading volume was also down 10% last month, again sequentially.

Expressed in euros, cash trading volumes amounted to almost 243.2 billion euros in June, down 8% on the previous month, while the average daily volume also fell by 8% on a monthly basis to 11.05 billion.
