Boskalis: neutral towards HAL's offer price

(CercleFinance.com) - Boskalis Westminster says that based on independent valuations, it has concluded that the offer price considered by HAL "is not unreasonable, but not sufficiently convincing to recommend this price to its shareholders".


The Dutch marine infrastructure company says that on 10 March, the investment company HAL announced its intention to make a voluntary public offer for Boskalis shares at 32.5 euros per share.

Boskalis was unable to convince HAL, after weeks of discussions, to increase the proposed price, although says that it has reached an agreement with HAL on the non-financial aspects of the offer, which will be valid for four years after the offer's completion.
