Gemalto: Invest Securities says tender to offer

(CercleFinance.com) - Parisian broker Invest Securities recommends Gemalto shareholders tender their shares to the offer that Thales has just launched on the electronic banking group.


Analysts previously had a 'neutral' rating on the share and have aligned their target price on the takeover bid price of 51 euros.

Invest Securities has looked in vain, finding no reason to avoid Thales' offer. It continues to believe that the price of 51 euros proposed by Thales offers an attractive exit opportunity for minority shareholders during this period of transition, where the coming on stream new business (M2M, Enterprise, Government) does not offset the decline in the group's historical activities (SIM and credit/debit cards), its report says.
