Wolters Kluwer: targets raised as profit rises

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday Dutch publisher Wolters Kluwer announced stronger than expected increase in its H1 results and raised its annual targets in the process.


The information, software and business services provider this morning announced H1 sales that are up 14% to 2.6 billion euros.

Organic growth reached 7%, which is higher than the group's own targets.

EBITA increased 10% at constant exchange rates, to 734 million euros, with cash flow from continuing activities up 9% to 666 million euros.

For 2022, the publisher is now targeting an adjusted operating margin of 26% to 26.5%, compared with a previous forecast of 25.5% to 26%.
