TomTom: to collaborate with Elektrobit in automated driving

(CercleFinance.com) - At the Mobile World Congress, which is currently taking place in Barcelona, Dutch navigation company TomTom said that it would collaborate with Continental unit Elektrobit in driver assistance and autonomous vehicles.


The project will combine TomTom's latest map data and Elektrobit's predictive driver assistance functions to provide information about the road ahead, improving safety in automated driving, the companies said.
