Aegon: completes share buyback program

(CercleFinance.com) - Aegon announces that it has completed a share buyback program that it announced on 18 September to neutralise the dilutive impact of the 2019 interim dividend paid in shares.

The repurchased shares will be held to cover future dividends paid in shares.

From 1 October to 8 November, the Dutch insurance company bought back nearly 43.15 million of its own shares at an average unit price of 3.89 euros, representing a total payout of 168 million euros.
