Aegon: to re-appoint CEO for four-year term
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch insurer Aegon said on Thursday that it will ask shareholders next year to re-appoint Alex Wynaendts, its chief executive officer, for another four-year term of office.
At its annual general meeting of shareholders in May 2019 Aegon will propose the reappointment of its 58-year old CEO. Wynaendts joined Aegon in 1997 and was appointed as a member of the company's executive board in 2003. He was named chief operating officer in April 2007, and was appointed CEO and chairman in 2008.
