Airbus: Air Algérie orders seven planes

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced on Thursday that Air Algérie has signed a firm order for seven A330neo and A350 aircraft, its latest-generation wide-body jets.

In detail, the Algerisn national airline plans to buy five A330-900s and two A350-1000s, representing a total order value of around $2.2bn at list prices.

Airbus says that operating the A330neo alongside the A350-1000 will enable Air Algérie to make fuel savings of around 25% per seat.

The aircraft also feature more individual space, enlarged overhead bins, a new lighting system and access to the latest in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.
