Airbus: order for 26 helicopters from THC

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has signed a contract with The Helicopter Company (THC), the only helicopter service provider authorised to operate commercial flights in Saudi Arabia, for the purchase of 26 helicopters.


The partnership will contribute to the continued expansion of THC's regional fleet, with 20 new five-blade H145 models and six ACH160 models, all of which feature state-of-the-art technology and biofuel-compatible engines.

This contract comes in addition to an initial agreement for THC to purchase 10 Airbus H125 helicopters to increase access to domestic tourist destinations and provide services such as filming and aerial surveys.
