Airbus: extends contract with NASA

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced on Wednesday an extension of its data acquisition contract with NASA, to which the aerospace group was already providing views of the Earth.


Under the terms of the agreement, Airbus will offer the US space agency's scientists and researchers its "synthetic aperture radar" (SAR) analysis technology deployed from its satellites.

This tool offers unparalleled geometric accuracy, Airbus says, with a resolution ranging from 25 centimetres to 40 metres, regardless of weather conditions on Earth.
