Airbus: Hong Kong receives its first H175 helicopter

(CercleFinance.com) - The Hong Kong government Flying Service (GFS) has received three H175 helicopters produced by Airbus - theversion dedicated to public Service missions, such as search and rescue, emergency medical services, firefighting, or Land and sea border control operations.


The Hong Kong government ordered seven helicopters from Airbus in 2015. The remaining four helicopters will be delivered by the end of this year.

Thanks to the speed, advanced technology and versatility of the H175, we will not only be able to strengthen our response capacity, but also intervene in the most complex situations and in a wide variety of scenarios, said Michael Chan, on behalf of GFS.
