STMicro: presents V2X Solution during CES 2018

(CercleFinance.com) - At the 2018 Consumer Electronic Show of Las Vegas, STMicroelectronics has announced the presentation, alongside Autotalks, of the first second generation V2X solution in the world, which is ready for the mass market.


"The DSRC-based technology today exceeds all existing US Department of Transportation (USDOT) specifications" confirmed the Franco-Italian semi-conductor maker.

The presentation will focus on the seamless integration of V2X technology with telematic features, while exposing the warning function of head-on collisions and three other V2V/V2I usage scenarios.
