Philips: 8.5 million shares cancelled
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch health technology group Philips said last Tuesday that it has completed the cancellation of 8.
5 million of its own shares. The cancelled shares were acquired as part of the 1.5 billion euro share repurchase program that started in the first quarter of 2019, the company said. Philips' current share capital represents 896.7 million common shares, the group pointed out. Philips shares were broadly flat on Euronext Amsterdam on Friday morning.
