Philips: a new monitor/defibrillator model

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Philips announced the European launch of a new model of connected monitor/defibrillator for emergency services.


The device - presented as both portable, lightweight and resistant - is equipped with a "cloud" application enabling electronic healthcare reporting (ePCR) as well as the implementation of computerised patient records (EMR/EHR).

The Philips "HeartStart Intrepid" Defibrillator with the IntelliSpace Connect platform - has already obtaind CE approval - is available for sale in Europe, as well as in select markets in Asia and Africa.
