Heineken: Jean-Marc Huët to replace Wijers as board chairman

(CercleFinance.com) - Heineken has named director Jean-Marc Huët as supervisory board chairman, after Hans Wijers said he would resign from his position next year.

Jean-Marc Huët - who was CFO of the Anglo-Dutch consumer group Unilever between 2010 and 2015 - has been a member of Heineken's supervisory board since 2014 and chairman of its audit committee.

Wijers had been chairman since 2012.

Heineken also said that Yonca Dervisoglu will resign from the supervisory board next year, due to increased executive responsibilities at Google.

Rosemary Ripley, a managing director at equity investment firm NGEN, will be appointed as member of the supervisory board at the end of the company's 2019 AGM, Heineken said.
