AkzoNobel: in demand after quarterly results
(CercleFinance.com) - The share of the paint and coatings group AkzoNobel is up 3.
7% in Amsterdam today, after the chemist published a 85% increase in EPS from continuing operations at 0.96 euro, with adjusted operating profit that is up 36% at 305 million euros for the past quarter. At 2.45 billion euros, sales were flat at reported, and were up 1% at constant exchange rates, with positive mix and price effects that were offset by lower volumes.
