ArcelorMittal: MoU with Gonvarri Industries

(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal has announced that its ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products division has signed a memorandum of understanding with Gonvarri Industries to cooperate on reducing CO2 emissions and to strengthen both companies' sustainable development performance.


For the record, Gonvarri Industries is a leader in the processing of flat steel with an annual production of about 5 million tons of processed steel. The company is also a major customer of ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products.

It said that the signing of the agreement with its valued customer and partner Gonvarri, is the culmination of months of collaboration, with the aim of further reducing CO2 emissions and exploring all the opportunities we have to strengthen the sustainability of our businesses.
