ArcelorMittal: cuts production in Europe

(CercleFinance.com) - Faced with the Covid-19 pandemic, ArcelorMittal announces that it is "taking steps to reduce production from its European operations to ensure the wellbeing of our employees is maintained and that production is aligned with demand".


"We will continue to monitor the evolution of the coronavirus in each of our operating markets and take decisions accordingly to ensure the wellbeing of our employees and our ability to meet customer demand," the steel giant added.
