ArcelorMittal: Q3 EBITDA above estimates.

(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal has published Q3 2017 net profit of 1.
2 billion dollars, against 680 million dollars a year earlier, with EBITDA up 1.4% at 1.9 billion dollars, slightly above the consensus of 1.87 billion dollars.

The steel giant's turnover rose by 21.5% to over 17.6 billion dollars, with steel shipments of 21.7 million tonnes, meaning 6.8% volume growth y-o-y.

Given improved market conditions, the company now plans to make an investment in working capital of around two billion dollars over FY 2017, against a previous forecast of about 1.5 billion dollars.
