Toyota: group sales fall 1.7% in December

(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota Motor Corporation has announced that total group sales reached 917,747 units in December 2022, down 1.
7% y-o-y.

Over this period, Toyota brand's global sales fell 1.4% (to 839,299 units), as did those of Daihatsu
(-2.2%, to 65,491 units) and Hino (-13.8%, to 12,957 units).

Overall production fell by 11.2% between December 2021 and December 2022, to 841,461 units, with the Toyota brand producing 695,433 vehicles (-13.2%), Daihatsu 130,965 vehicles (+0.3%) and Hino 15,063 vehicles (-7.7%).
