Toyota: EVs making inroads into Europe

(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota today presented the bZ Compact SUV Concept, a concept car that heralds a future model in the bZ (for "Beyond Zero") range, which includes Toyota's 100% electric vehicles (BEV).


This 100% electric SUV stands out for its "minimalist and futuristic" design and the use of sustainable materials in its manufacture, with six new models from the bZ range set to be launched in Europe by 2026.

On top of this, Toyota has also introduced its new Prius Plug-In Hybrid.
This fifth generation Prius is distinguished by a new design and a new exclusively plug-in hybrid engine with 223 hp. Toyota says that the new Prius combines "high level" performance with 69 km of 100% electric range and CO2 emissions reduced to 19 g/km.
