Moncler: strong results prompt some profit taking

(CercleFinance.com) - Shares of Moncler were down more than 2 percent on Monday after the Italian luxury jacket maker's strong quarterly performance prompted a round of profit taking.


Moncler said consolidated revenues came in at 332 million euros in the first three months of the year, up 20 percent, against consensus of 316 million euros.

Analysts at Bryan Garnier highlighted "amazing numbers," with retail revenues up 35% at constant exchange rates.

After their strong run recently, the shares were down 2.5 percent in early-morning trading. They are still up 35 per cent this year.
