Eni: MoU with Unesco in Mexico

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni announces the signing of a four-year memorandum of understanding with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Mexico to identify potential joint projects that will help stimulate the sustainable development of the local economy.


They also aim to collaborate on the protection and promotion of culture and traditional knowledge, promoting economic diversification.

Sustainability plays a central role in Eni's strategy and goes hand in hand with the development of business opportunities in the countries where the company operates. Mexico is a concrete example of such a model, Eni said.

Through this alliance in Mexico, Eni and UNESCO will contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals - in particular Goal 4 for quality education, Goal 13 for climate action and Goal 15 for life on earth.
