Eni: cooperation agreements with Kazmunaigas in Kazakhstan

(CercleFinance.com) - Eni has announced signing cooperation agreements for the development of renewable energy, hydrogen and biofeedstock projects with KazMunaiGas in Kazakhstan, thereby extending the historical partnership between these two entities to the scope of energy transition.


Eni says that these agreements mark a new tangible step in favour of energy transition and decarbonisation, while being in line with the country's net zero aims.

In Kazakhstan, Eni, through its local renewable energy subsidiary ArmWind LLP, is already a key player in the development of the renewable energy sector through two wind farms and a photovoltaic plant that has a total capacity of around 150 MW.
