Generali: 9m net income up 74%

(CercleFinance.com) - Gross written premiums amounted to 54,899 million euros in the first nine months of 2021, up 6.
4%.

The group benefited from growth in both the Life and Property & Casualty segments.

Net inflows in Life increased to 9.5 billion euros (+3%).

Group operating income amounted to 4,425 million euros (+10%), benefiting from the positive performance of Life, Asset Management and Holding & Other activities.

Asset Management operating income increased to 451 million Euro (+32%).
In all, net income rose by 74% to 2,250 million euros (vs. 1,297 millione euros in 9m 2020).
