Generali: launches second green bond

(CercleFinance.com) - Generali said that it has launched a second green bond of up to 600 millions euros to finance its sustainability projects.


The new note, maturing in 2031, will be issued under the Italian insurer's Euro Medium Term Note Program and offered to qualified investors, it said in a statement on Tuesday.

Generali also announced a buyback offer for three series of notes with first call dates in 2022, to refinance its debt and save interest costs.
