Linde: AlphaValue double upgrades stock

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday AlphaValue announced that it had upgraded its rating on Linde shares to "add" from "reduce".


In a report, the independent broker justifies its upgrade by the company's very good start to the year.

"We have revised our forecasts upwards after the results for Q1 22 which were rather sound and driven by all segments," the broker said.

"Prices remained particularly healthy with price hikes across the board and the cost of energy is not so much of an issue since it is being passed through to the end-user," it said.

However, AlphaValue says it is closely monitoring developments in gas supplies to Europe, fearing possible "disruptions" due to the intensifying Ukrainian conflict.
