Linde: partners Daimler Truck in hydrogen

(CercleFinance.com) - Linde announces that it has signed an agreement with Daimler Truck to jointly develop the next generation of hydrogen refueling technology for fuel cell-powered trucks.


Together, both groups will develop a technology based on sub-cooled liquid hydrogen, which enables higher on-board capacity, a longer range, faster refueling and superior fuel efficiency.

The new process will be implemented in the production version of the Mercedes-Benz GenH2 truck, unveiled last September. A first refuelling of a prototype vehicle at a pilot station is planned in Germany in 2023.
