Ryanair: Oddo raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Ryanair and Boeing yesterday announced an order for an additional 75 Boeing 737 Max aircraft, bringing the airline's total order to 210 aircraft.


While this announcement comes as no surprise for Oddo, the analyst stresses that the airline's negotiating power has been strengthened vis-à-vis Boeing, with Ryanair benefiting from "attractive conditions", Oddo said.

The broker also points out that the aircraft should generate certain competitive advantages for the airline, notably thanks to reduced fuel consumption (-16%) and an increased number of available seats (+4%).

As a result, Oddo is maintaining its buy rating on Ryanair shares and has increased increasing corresponding target price from 15 euros to 19 euros.
