Medtronic: new CEO in April 2020

(CercleFinance.com) - Medtronic announces that Omar Ishrak will step down as CEO at the end of the current fiscal year, i.
e. on 27 April 2020, although thereafter retaining the Executive Chairmanship of the Board of Directors.

Omar Ishrak will then be replaced as CEO by Geoff Martha, who will be joining the Dublin-based medical equipment provider's board of directors on 1 November 2019.

On 1 November Geoff Martha will retire as President of all Restorative Therapies, with Brett Wall taking his place, who currently serves as head of the group's brain therapy division.
