Accenture: opens 'Situational Awareness' center in Singapore

(CercleFinance.com) - Accenture announced on Tuesday that it has opened a "Situational Awareness" Center in Singapore to search for new tools for public safety.


This "collaborative" project aims to implement solutions aimed at anticipating and responding to threats and risks that may weigh on citizens, while maintaining their trust and confidence, the consulting giant explained in a statement.

This aims to encourage breakthrough thinking between Accenture clients, from the public and private sectors, the outsourcing specialist added.

The Accenture site - the first of its type created by the group - will notably rely on technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, blockchain and augmented reality.

Accenture plans to involve other partners in the project, starting with the designer of SAS analytical software.
