Deliveroo: cuts forecasts

(CercleFinance.com) - The home delivery group has reduced its forecast for gross transaction value (GTV) growth for FY 2022.


The British company now expects this key indicator of its business to rise by between 4% and 12% at constant exchange rates, compared with a previous target range of 15%-25%. However, the company is maintaining its forecast of an adjusted EBITDA margin of -1.5% to -1.8% of GTV.

In Q2, Deliveroo's GTV increased 2% year-on-year at constant exchange rates, which represents a slowdown from the 12% increase in Q1, which it explained by increased consumer headwinds.

The share is currently up about 1.5%, pretty much in line with the market in London.
