TechnipFMC: wins major contract in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - The oil services group TechnipFMC announces having won, on behalf of the Libra consortium, a major contract (i.
e. which is worth between 500 million and one billion dollars) offshore Brazil.

The Libra consortium is made up from the oil majors Petrobras, Shell, Total, CNOOC Limited, CNPC and Pre-Sal Petróleo (PPSA).

The contract concerns the engineering, supply, construction and installation of equipment (rigid pipes, risers, flowlines, etc.) that are intended for the Mero 1 pre-salt field, located in the basin of Santos, at a depth of 2,100 metres, off the coast of Brazil.
