Rolls-Royce: stock flying high on China Eastern contract

(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce has announced that China Eastern Airlines has signed a TotalCare Life service agreement for 10 Trent 700-powered A330 aircraft for a period of at least five years.


The contract will provide China Eastern Airlines with comprehensive after-sales and operational support, the UK engine manufacturer said.

Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines currently power more than 50 Airbus A330s in service with China Eastern.

Rolls Royce shares are currently up about 3.5% on this news in London, outperforming a lacklustre geneneral index by about 4%.
