Rolls-Royce: deal with a Chinese shipyard
(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce has announced that it has signed a "strategic cooperation agreement" with the Zhenjiang Shipyard in China to jointly develop commercial marine activities.
By leveraging the high-speed marine engines developed by the Rolls-Royce Power Systems business unit and the shipbuilding capabilities of Zhenjiang Shipyard, both parties intend to strengthen their competitiveness in the commercial marine market.
The agreement initially aims to jointly promote the development of mtu high-speed tugs in China.
