Rolls-Royce: two-billion-pound bond offering

(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce is seeking to raise 2 billion pounds sterling through the issue of guaranteed bonds in three different currencies.


The British car builder is set to issue 1 billion dollars in bonds at 5.75% maturing in 2027, 750 million euros at 4.625% maturing in 2026 and 545 million GBP at 5.75% maturing in 2027.

This bond offering forms part of a vast 5-billion-pound recapitalisation plan destined “to increase resilience, strengthen the balance sheet and support long-term strategy” says Rolls-Royce.

The bond offering is expected to close on 21 October 2020.
