Reckitt: penalised by a Deutsche Bank downgrade

(CercleFinance.com) - Reckitt's shares fell on Monday in London, penalised by a downgrade from Deutsche Bank's - which is now on "hold" - from "buy" previously.

At around 1 pm (local time), the British consumer staples group's shares were down 1.3%, underperforming the FTSE 100 index, which was down half that.

In a note, analysts at Deutsche Bank said they were concerned about "headwinds" that prevented the owner of the Strepsils and Nurofen brands from increasing its stock price.

The broker explains that it perceives only a limited number of catalysts that could support the stock in the near term.
