Kingfisher: shares down almost 3% - as are H1 sales

(CercleFinance.com) - Kingfisher has announced H1 2022 sales that are down 2.
8% at constant exchange rates, with strong demand the previous year.

However, the group announces double-digit LFL sales growth over three years in all formats.

Q2 sales increased 17.4% y-o-y, adjusted for a negative calendar impact of approximately 0.7%; a stronger trend than in Q1 (+14.8%, adjusted for a positive calendar impact of approximately 1.4%).

Retail profit was down 27.1% at constant exchange rates at 555 million pounds, largely reflecting the very high comparative figures from last year in the UK and Ireland.

The Group has announced an interim dividend of 3.80p per share.

The share is currently down about 3% on these figures.
