AstraZeneca: to present new data at SABCS

(CercleFinance.com) - AstraZeneca will present new data at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2021 from 7 to 10 December 2021.


Fourteen AstraZeneca drugs and potential new drugs from the pipeline will be presented in 33 abstracts showcasing the Company's leadership in different types and stages of breast cancer, including three oral presentations.

Breast cancer is now the most diagnosed cancer in the world with an estimated 2.3 million people diagnosed in 2020, the group said.

AstraZeneca said that early data from the BEGONIA and TROPION-PanTumor01 trials show great promise in treating patients with limited treatment options. This data builds on our decades of experience in pioneering medicines to redefine patient care.

The share is down almost 1% an hour before close for the weekend in London.
