AstraZeneca: dollar bond issue in 3 tranches

(CercleFinance.com) - Anglo-Swedish pharmaceutical group AstraZeneca announced on Tuesday that it will refinance its debt through a dollar bond issue in three tranches.


The biopharmaceutical group will issue three billion dollars of new bonds, to finance the company's general needs, but above all to refinance existing debt.

The maturities of the three tranches range from six to 25 years, with maturities from 2026 to 2050 and coupons between 0.7% and 2.125%.
