GlaxoSmithKline: Perrigo buys heartburn drug rights

(CercleFinance.com) - Perrigo, a maker of generic and over-the-counter drugs, said that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the rights to heartburn drug Prevacid from GlaxoSmithKline.


Under the terms of the agreement, Perrigo will have the exclusive rights to market, sell and distribute Prevacid 24HR in the US over-the-counter market.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
