bp: first gas extracted from Cassia C project

(CercleFinance.com) - bp Trinidad and Tobago (bpTT) today confirmed that its Cassia C project has safely delivered its first gas.


Cassia C is bpTT's first offshore compression platform and its largest offshore facility. It will enable bpTT to access and produce low pressure gas resources in the Greater Cassia area.

The platform, which is bpTT's 16th offshore installation, is connected to the existing Cassia platform, located approximately 35 miles off the southeast coast of Trinidad.
