bp: Castrol launches PATH360, bp takes stake in DCS
(CercleFinance.com) - Castrol, a bp company, is launching its 'PATH360' strategy to contribute to a more sustainable future, in line with bp's sustainable development plan.
The strategy includes targets for 2030 to save waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Castrol aims to develop circular thinking, looking at the life cycle of products and how they can be improved, extended, reused or recycled.
"Our approach is 360-degree, holistic, whole-system thinking. We're not starting from scratch with PATH360, it builds upon work we've been doing for years, pulling it all together into one integrated sustainability programme," said Mandhir Singh, senior vice president, Castrol
In other bp news, Daimler Mobility and BMW Group announce that they are significantly strengthening the customer offering of their joint venture igital Charging Solutions (DCS) by adding bp as a third shareholder with a 33.3% stake; the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
