BP: MoU for alliance with Petrobras

(CercleFinance.com) - BP has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Petrobras, forming a strategic alliance with the Brazilian group to explore potential cooperation in areas of mutual interest.


The areas concerned are upstream, downstream, trading and low-carbon initiatives - both in Brazil and elsewhere. The alliance should also include technology transfer, as well as joint training and research.

Bob Dudley, BP CEO said: “Petrobras is a world-class energy company with which BP has built strong relationships over many years... we are now excited to deepen our partnership.”
