HSBC: shares delisted from Euronext Paris

(CercleFinance.com) - HSBC said on Wednesday that it has ended its French listing, one of the most high-profile European companies to turn its back on Euronext Paris.


The British banking giant - which submitted an application for the delisting of its shares last month - said the move has been approved by Euronext Paris' board of directors.

HSBC said the decision was taken following a review of the trading volumes, costs and administrative requirements.

HSBC will still be listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), in Hong Kong, on the New York Stock Exchange and on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
