BAT: wins marketing approval for Vuse Solo

(CercleFinance.com) - BAT announced that the FDA has granted marketing authorization for the Vuse Solo electronic cigarettes of its US subsidiary Reynold's, for the "Original Flavour".


However, the group says that the FDA has issued a marketing refusal for five flavours that do not exist on the market. In addition, the FDA has not yet made a decision on the "menthol" fragrance.

According to a BAT spokesperson, the FDA's decision shows that Vuse Solo products comply with public health protection.

The BAT share is pretty flat in London this lunchtime - as is the market.
