Aviva: sells Aviva France to Aéma Groupe for E3.2bn

(CercleFinance.com) - Aviva has announced the sale of Aviva France to Aéma Groupe for 3.
2 billion euros.

This deal is in line with Aviva's desire to refocus the Group's businesses on its main markets in the UK, Ireland and Canada.

It will enable Aviva to significantly strengthen its capital and cash position.

Amanda Blanc, Aviva Plc's CEO said that the sale will reinforce Aviva Plc's financial strength, significantly reduce its volatility and enable the group to refocus its business.
